Maine’s Health and Environmental Testing Laboratory confirmed that a bat from our town tested positive for rabies. Rabies is common in wild animals in Maine. Make sure to never touch an animal that is wild or unknown to you. You should also make sure your animals are up to date on the rabies vaccine. Town Office accepts credit and debit Cards, checks and cash

The Town of Hebron is now accepting payments made with credit and debit cards at the Town Office (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). If you wish to make a payment to the Town using your credit or debit card, you will be charged a fee of $1.00 or 2.5% of the amount being paid, whichever is greater. You can still pay with cash or check if you do not wish to pay this fee.

Yard Waste Disposal Available

The Town of Oxford has agreed to allow residents of the Town of Hebron to dispose of yard waste, including brush, leaves, shrubs and trees, at the Town of Oxford’s Transfer Station. Tree stumps are not allowed. The Town of Oxford Transfer Station is located 69 Smith Road in Oxford. Hebron residents will need to have a Hebron Dump sticker on their windshield in order to be allowed into the Town of Oxford’s Transfer Station, and will only be allowed to bring in yard waste.
